CommShare; electric cars for the Single Cell Pilot Study

On February 10th the kick-off event of the CommShare project was held in the UMCG. This project is part of an initiative of the UMCG to offer a new sustainable form of mobility for employees. CommShare aims for community sharing of facilities, such as cars. For the pilot phase of the project, 10 electric cars are available. The Single Cell Pilot study was selected to be one of the test-users of the electric cars the coming year! For the Single Cell study patients are visited in the three northern provinces to collect samples. The last year this was done using a private car, however the use of an electric car from the CommShare project is much more sustainable. We are glad to participate in this pilot and are looking forward to using this shared-car service!
