Overview of research related to sex and gender differences in HF
We have a plethora of topics that we investigate at UMCG Cardiology. It has become obvious that heart diseases are not the same in men and women and that the cardiovascular field should study these differences in more thoroughly. Here, we highlight several of our projects that aim to elucidate how sex (and gender) may affect heart disease on different levels.
