Sietske-Nyncke Zijlstra received her bachelor’s degree in Biology and Medical Laboratory Research (2018) from the Hanze University of Applied Sciences and received her master’s degree in Medical Pharmaceutical Sciences (2020) from the University of Groningen. In October 2020, she started working at the Experimental Cardiology department as research technician.
As member of the technical team she aims to guide and support investigators with their research projects. In the laboratory Sietske mainly performs molecular techniques, like RNA isolation, western blotting and qPCR.
