DECISION-trial: end of recruitment
We are really excited to announce that we have finalized the recruitment of the DECISION-trial! Enrollment started more than 3 years ago and over a 1,000 patients have been recruited in The Netherlands.
Many thanks to all 43 sites and participants who helped us to achieve this milestone.
The DECISION-trial is the first large outcome trial with digoxin in 25 years to evaluate whether low-dose digoxin is beneficial in patients with chronic heart failure and an impaired ejection fraction. The study was initiated by the UMC Groningen together with the WCN and is supported by the Dutch Heart Foundation. We expect to complete its follow-up by the end of 2025.
